Share on Linkedin Yesterday, I ran with a story about Halo: According to a trusted source, South African gamers were geo-fenced, kept out of matchmaking to keep the experience a stable and enjoyable one for gamers around the globe. The lag we introduce into multiplayer games whose servers are hosted outside of close proximity can make games frustrating for other. I surmised that Halo: Let me start with a bit of context. I was told by our source a few weeks ago that Industries had actively blocked us from using matchmaking — and that the block had been in place since December. I decided not to run with the story until I had some sort of confirmation or statement — but that never came.

As for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, community manager Brian Jarrard teased that developer is working on a new “mixtape”-style playlist. He suggested this will allow you to designate your preferred matchmaking preferences by game (Halo: MCC includes Halo 1, 2, 3, and 4) and gametype to create a tailor-made playlist.
Jan 19, Ragenrok said: Diablo 3, destiny and plants vs zombies is a ton of fun on it, and halo mcc is gonna be awesome. Halo on the Xbox was the first Fps I had ever played and I loved it so much, was also the first system and game I purchased with my own earned money when I was Last 3 months only thing on my PC to get played is star citizen.
I’ve got a few coworkers on the xbox one and I think that’s what makes it so much fun, for some reason multiplayer with rl friends has always been more enjoyable on the xbox that on the PC. I’m gonna play the snot out of halo 1 multiplayer on Tuesday. I feel the same way about PC gaming as of lately. I mean, I have plenty of friends that join me in PC games, but I grew up on consoles and it’s just not the same thing.

Jacoby04 Recruit – Onyx I’m making this thread because it seems there are some people who have the incorrect notion that MCC is already entirely fixed. The sad reality is, this is not true. Matchmaking times, matchmaking stability, party stability, and game stability are nowhere near where they should be for a game that has been released to the public. I am not making this thread to rant about , or just gripe in general.
I want to make a constructive thread that can highlight some of the bigger issues still plaguing this game. I do this because I know that if this game works as well as we were promised it would, that it will go down as my favorite game of all time as well as many others. As of right now though, the game is just all around too slow and unstable. Let’s hope we can keep this thread alive so becomes aware that their game still has much more work that needs to be done before it can be considered “fixed”.
Please share any issues you find with this game as well or add to ones I have listed. Let’s make sure our voices are heard seen! It is slow to get into games. It is slow to end games. It is slow to allow partied up members over Xbox live start searching for matches.
Halo MCC matchmaking issues still present post-patch
Eleven minutes six seconds. A few seconds after starting, I was booted from the match. Team Hardcore playlist Four minutes 10 seconds. In-game teams were 2 vs 2 in a 3 vs 3 gametype, and a bug with respawns occasionally froze your countdown at 9. But the others are a disgrace both in the time taken and the results.
The bugs mentioned are only a fraction of the problems that currently beset every aspect of MCC.
Halo 5 And Halo: MCC Are Still Getting New Updates [UPDATE] Halo community manager Brian Jarrard has shared a work-in-progress image of the new “match composer” feature for Halo: MCC. As you can see, it allows you to choose from a number of different options to create a “mixtape”-style playlist.
Surprisingly, servers re-opened shortly after the session was due to close, with connection issues initially intermittent before performance improved to near-perfect levels. When Nintendo ran three Splatoon Global Testfire sessions over the course of a single weekend they went impressively well; aside from occasional disconnections the performance was reliable and gave a good impression.
Unfortunately the ‘final round’ somewhat betrayed those positives with sustained connection problems that shut down most of the session. During our live blog play went down after less than 10 minutes, though Nintendo’s official network status timed the error at 13 minutes in; the following message was posted to acknowledge the issues. Due to a high amount of online traffic, network services may be intermittently unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.
Social media certainly exploded with the bad news, as tends to be the case, with SplatoonGlobalTestfire trending on Twitter. The servers remained down until the close of the original hour-long session, and it’s unclear at the time of writing whether Nintendo will schedule another Global Testfire to appease fans and, also, re-test its servers.
Beyond the obvious disappointment for Wii U fans, it raises concerns ahead of the title’s launch – a further test could benefit Nintendo in multiple ways. Splatoon is due in stores on 29th May, so there’s not long to arrange a replacement Testfire session if that is on the cards. Now unlikely, see update at the top of the article Were you trying to play in this ‘final’ Splatoon Global Testfire session?
